🚊We’re a 9 minute walk from the Highland Park train station serviced by the LA Metro A Line.
♿︎ We have ADA parking and wheelchair access. Please email, call, or text us in advance so we can coordinate.
🚗 Street parking only for those not needing wheelchair access. Sorry! There are usually spots available on side streets (Ave 53, Ave 54, etc). On Figueroa St. Parking is limited to 1 hr before 6pm which is not enough for most appointments. There are also some nearby big parking lots for grocery stores, etc. Park there at your own discretion! There are also paid (though cheap) city lots off Figueroa between Ave 55 and 60.
Prepare your body for your tattoo
🛌 Try to be well-rested and hydrated for your appointment.
🍌 Have a bite to eat before your tattoo.
🧴 If your skin is dry in the tattoo area, consider moisturizing in the days/weeks leading up to your appointment.
☀️ Avoid sunburn before your appointment. We cannot tattoo over a sunburn.
🪒 You do not need to shave your tattoo area. Your artist will do that at the shop.
💊 Avoid alcohol and bloodthinners (including Ibuprofen abd Asprin).
What to bring and not bring
🩳 Wear clothing that will allow the artist to access your tattoo area
🎧 For longer sessions, earbuds + entertainment on your phone or tablet. A blanket might help if you get cold.
📙 Some tough customers read books while being tattooed :)
🍪 You’re welcome to bring snacks for breaks and water to keep you hyrdrated. We’ll also have snacks and water for you.
🪪 Government photo id like a license or passport to identify you and show you are over 18.
☝️Please do not bring any guests for your tattoo session. They will be bored and in the way.
Payment
$ We accept cash and zelle in the shop for tattoo payments. We can also accept Venmo and card for a fee (2% and 3% respectively).
💸 You can tip your artist directly with cash or venmo (no fee to venmo the artists). It’s also possible to leave tip when paying your balance with the shop but please make a note of it to our staff.

To do in our area
There are many cafes, shops, and restaurants 5-10 minutes walking just a few blocks Northeast of us on Figueroa St. between Ave 55 and 60. There are also several local Mexican restaurants very near our shop. For breakfast, lunch and dinner. Try Metro Balderas across the street for Breakfast Burritos, Chicken Tostadas, or Huitlacoche Quesadillas. Villa’s Tacos on Ave 54 is delicious and very popylar. Try Via-Mar Express for seafood tacos and ceviche al fresco.
